Overwhelming day today, thanks for the kind words everybody. I started working on this project in 2017 when it was kind of skunkworks and contributed to the core interactions, productivity scenarios, and the SwiftUI port into 3D. Real hard problems. Thousands involved. Humbled.
Man that’s so fuckin cool - mad props and would love to hear your thoughts on it sometime 🫡🫡🫡
Wow, big congratulations Sam! It looks super cool and it must feel amazing for you now that it’s out! 😃
it's definitely an impressive platform. since this is "Pro", any plans on a "SE"?
Congratulations - can't wait to build apps for it! 🎉 Any fun stories from building the Vision Pro that you can share with us? :)
congrats Sam! Really cool to finally see what you and the team have been working on
Congrats! I am specifically interested to see how the core interactions work out. They are kind of crucial.
I've got to engage in some Apple chat today. This is an appropriate choice - congrats Sam, excellent work.
honestly one of the most unbelievable new pieces of tech i've ever seen. congrats to you + the team!
Congratulations on the massive accomplishment! Looking forward to getting my hands on one!
I can only imagine the feeling of both working on such a paradigm-shifting product and seeing years' work come to life on the world's biggest stage. Huge congrats & props!!! 🫡
What was the sufficiently decentralized classified level(s) of security on something like this? Imagine they’re pretty extensive…
Thank you so much for doing what you do. You could really feel the world change yesterday. A huge moment. Can’t thank you enough 🙏
Great work. Obviously love the vision of Vision. And hopefully will get to try it today to feel it personally Here is my 2c https://om.co/2023/06/05/my-big-takeaways-from-wwdc-2023/
Curious how you thought through some of the challenges of existing headsets as it pertains to wearability, productivity, and fashion. And how do you think this one will make the leap for consumer adoption?
Amazing work. Amazing patients, too, given how long and how many trials and errors you all had to go through to get to this point.
Congrats to you and the rest of the team! Hopefully you have some dev kits going to creative app makers like Procreate and Nomad Sculpt. Would be amazing to see a 2D or 3D studio in AR/VR that doesn’t require wands.
