We were safe, and enjoyed the time. We were in all practical terms definitely stuck - our vehicles could not leave until the playa was dry enough. That said - I guess we could have walked out (with great difficulty) but that would have been a logistic nightmare afterward; flights, moop, etc.

With no rain, winds and sun, it was mostly dry and safe to drive on within about 10hours. The issue was waiting for continuous dry weather

Crazy thought: What if the self-improvement/help and optimization popular today is just a fad..? What if instead of focusing of improvement we focused on strengthening any assets we have, and simply accepting the faults…? Did Einstein read self-help books?
I view information as falling into 1 of 2 categories: Timeless and Temporary. Much of information we come across (on social media) seems to fall into the latter, which is maybe why I find it hard sometimes to engage with “trending topics”… they come and go
Everytime people make a movie… they kind of do something they’ve never done before. Incredible to consider how many times this coordinated creative act between so many people, turns out so well.
I often times think about the fact that really only ER doctors are under true urgent time pressure. Everyone else can wait
