Karma Kandara Hotel on the cliffs of the southern most tip of Bali. Felt like you’re overlooking the edge of the world. (Random google photo for reference)
camping alone on Angel Island in San Francisco bay enjoying a day of psilocybin, gorgeous clouds, a guided trip meditation playlist from John Hopkins University, an epic sunset with hues of purple, and the most beautiful view of San Francisco at night i’ve ever seen 🕊️ ❤️
Middle of the Atlantic, under sail, pitch black except for the stars.

Inside a rainforest. Where it’s deep and dark and you can hear life all around you but see almost none of it. The air is thick with humidity and barely any light makes it to the floor even in the peak of day because there are layers and layers of canopy over your head.

Hiking the Teton Crest Trail, seeing these mountains turn red as the sun went down. This picture doesn't do it justice.
Hands down Cuzco. I took around 1,000 photos and none could come close to capturing the majesty.
So hard to pick one! Also additional attributes such as smell, sounds, history do affect the overall perception of a place, and it’s challenging to pick a solely visually stunning one. I’ll go with the most recent – Vale Furado beach in Portugal
Own imagination? But isn't that an axiomatic response, as reality is always individually processed? Or maybe common sense makes us think because the overlap of visual experience is almost exactly the same, perhaps that can be considered objective reality?
Top3 probably: Atacama desert in Chile (pic) Oahu Hawaii Masai Mara in Kenya
Switzerland ~ Piz Gloria (hotel on glacier) , South African game reserves ~ Kruger national park at sunset, and Colombia's coffee region 🏔️ views 🤌

If I had pics of Lac ‘Assal in Djibouti and some other locations in DJ on my phone I’d post those. But here is Pichincha, Ecuador with Toucans in trees (not visible).

Honestly? Iowa. Flat, icy serenity. Nothing, anywhere. No earth or people. Only sky and the expanse.
There were purple night colors while we floated on a raft in a celestial river amongst the stars and darkness of space…
Path of the Gods in Italy as a "single place", New Zealand in terms of "compact stunningness diversity" - never seen so many different scenic spots so close to each other. Breakfast in the forest, lunch in the snow on a mountain peak, dinner on the beach is doable.

Walking into the lobby of the Gamboa Resort in Panama above the Chargres River valley for the first time literally took my breath away. There have been so many amazing places since, but I'll never forget that experience.
I have a few, but Moraine Lake in AB, Canada will always be on my list. Personally believe it’s more impressive than Lake Louise around the corner.
São Miguel, Açores. Not nearly my best photo from the island, but one I have available quickly from last summer.
Hard to pick one. Patagonia (Torres del Paine) Atacama Desert Banff Alaska Iceland All great. All different.
Non-GR candidates: - Koyasan (JP) - Iceland - Grand Canyon - Yosemite - Cape of Good Hope (SA)
Milford Sound - in New Zealand. Never have I seen over 1,000 waterfalls all within the Soan of an hour, while on a boat, surrounded by rock formations, karsts, and mountains.
The island of Ibiza during the pandemic. No tourists, no wild parties. Empty, peaceful beaches ❤️
I think for me it's a tie between the Alps in Tyrol, Austria and the rock formations in Sedona, Arizona.
An oasis up a cañon near San Carlos, Mexico. Don’t think any pictures I had still exist.
Beside all other places far from home, it is not hard to find a beautiful sunset along west coast beach.
Not a place per se, but watching the total eclipse in Salem, Oregon in 2017(?). It brought chills down my spine.
Recently, Nusa Penida in Bali. the White Mountains in New Hampshire mid winter are pretty phenomenal
been fortunate to spend time in a lot of beautiful places but yosemite valley takes the cake imo
didn't visit so many places yet, but visited Nationalpark Hohetauern once in school, i somehow can remember one image which still impresses me today... maybe it's imagination, or something... also liked Krimmler Wasserfälle)
