https://x.com/teslaconomics/status/1695316921816961060?s=46&t=eNnMMrUav10mlVqpAvTe9g this is the weirdest, most insane post I’ve ever seen bro is writing a letter to Elon’s son from the hypothetical perspective of Elon
what are the highest quality apparel blanks? no champion or gildan nonsense. I want premium materials
lol that’s super weird, @dwr mentioned this as well. seems really misleading that they’re allowed to report volume as revenue
huh that’s super interesting lol. do you have any resources or articles that talks more about this?
Block is the most bitcoin-centric company I can think of off the top of my head (obv bc Jack is a big believer in it). I think there's still a lot that can be done, for ex they're doing some interesting work with Lightning & hardware wallets, as well as continuing to push on payments & efficient mining
also if anyone has data that suggests otherwise, I'd be keen to see it! this question was inspired by looking at how Block centers their crypto business around BTC, and seems to be generating a ton of revenue from it: https://decrypt.co/151161/block-announces-increase-in-profit-year-over-year-in-q223-earnings
Perceptually, it seems like coinbase over the years has become primarily an ethereum-centric company over bitcoin. Why is this? I feel like I see a lot more initiatives toward eth l2s, wallets, ens, etc. than bitcoin-related products. Is this simply bc there's less surface area to build on? or it's less profitable?
was at the top of my list :) overall I’m most excited about: 1. bci 2. AGI/ASI 3. genetics & anti-aging 4. nuclear 5. space obv these are very general but I need more time to dive deep into each one and learn more
what are the most cutting-edge/frontier technologies still in infancy today ex: nuclear, quantum computing… what am I missing (that are not crypto related)
are there any good resources out there on leveraging llama/llama-2 for embeddings and recommendation systems?
anyone have good book/article recs on the impact of AGI on various macroeconomic projections? e.g anything related to manufacturing, agriculture, transportation, general productivity growth, energy production etc.
pure marketing to steer narrative away from monopoly talk and align with open-source branding. 0% of threads users care about the decentralization aspect, and the fediverse value prop is nonexistent
why hasn’t the sec gone after uniswap yet? I can imagine it’s only a matter of time
in all seriousness, discourse felt a little “fake”. meaning, it felt a little bland bc so many people were like “great game on both sides”, “happy for these teams”. I want more fire, more idgaf mood, less content trying to make everyone happy. I think this is mostly a function of the current community size
spoelstra is out here putting out the worst lineups in the history of the nba
the truth is, nobody (measurably) cares about the reddit api changes. most users aren't even aware of them. by next month everyone complaining will be back on reddit, just like everyone came back to twitter. content is king.
