can turn off link pre-render on posts. Esp posts with images
Channels // It's the possibility to create another(many other) parallel warpcasters where existing profiles could cast on the channel "myCompanyChannel". This enables that their casts and replies only target that one specific channel/APP and don't show up in their general profiles on warpcaster
Random but: (1) When you click on someone’s followers/following the navigation stack gets removed so you are unable to get back to how you got there. (2) GIFs on iOS mobile - every time I have a great GIF placement I go to Jam lol #FreeTheGIF
Caroussel for pictures. Pretty weird in the app to have to close the first picture to be able to click/see the second.
If you start with a kiwi it changes the like button to 🥝. Or purple proposals turn like into 🟪. And any other Farcaster native memes.
I turned off “ten new trending” notification but I still get it. And it also shows up twice every time.

Flattening the nested navigation when touching “see more” or trying to work through a “thread”, it’s confusing that it animates as though it’s going into a deeper bit but then it’s just the same cast over and over again. It’s a strange and broken interaction.
I would double down on the monarchical approach to new user experience and follower distribution as to not burden the 50 lords into understanding their content and associated activity amongst the demographic. Enact subconscious social penalty on those who speak out

Hiding the automated responses from "remind-me-later" bots that just pollute the timeline for everyone else. Make them only visible for the person who invoked the bot, or even better, make the bot's response be a direct cast.
Don’t love notifications for each new purple vote. Would prefer one notification, not a new push each time. Easily switch between accounts. Polls where I can get the results via API.
niche one, but I've come across a number of casts (via searchcaster usually) that are replies where the parent no longer exists. ex: https://warpcast.com/greg/0xe46700 idk if the parent was deleted or pruned or whatever but there's no warning so it feels broken
Dealing with threads is frustrating in farcaster. I feel like I have to click show more too many times.
Share via Android. It is really annoying that I cannot directly share photos or links from other apps through the android share button. Also images should look better in the client. They are too small and narrow.
Seems like a lot of my feed are reposts instead of original content, id ideally weight reposts as less than original posts for the algorithms

Post multiple images (and eventually other media types as well) in one Cast 3. Ability to compose a thread of multiple casts and then cast together all at once
Maybe our active badge can go on fire when you have a streak of good casts like when you have a streak in DDR. But make it hard and unsustainable so it’s special and not expected to be maintained.

on mobile app let me select and copy text from casts. I can during reply screen state but not when viewing the stream. of course also changing the scroll state when editing cast so virtual keyboard doesn't cover up case reply.
I only have not specific and broad but something community related would be cool. Like being able to create group chats or find communities. I'm pretty new so maybe there's been some works on that front already or maybe something for the longer term future.
I would like to keep typing a cast, going beyond current limit, post cast and app would automatically truncated the cast into smaller one and post all at once.

Simple one for me would be deep links into DCs and casting. (c.f. My messages about it in the dev chat) We basically want to allow casters to send group chat invites to other casters who they can DC
Lists of popular and controversial casts under the "Discover" tab to allow me to see if there are people here I would like to follow. I know the app provides me a list of suggested people, but a list of profile pictures doesn't really tell me if those people make content I care about.

oauth for FC warpcast endpoints that make it easy for users to sign in to any app using FC credentials scopes don't need to include write access to casting (this solution already exists), just read access to verified fid, display name, email, username allows dev to easily build experiences tied to FC namespace
Responses in the main feed are annoying. I can see the main cast and usually a reply from the author but not what they are replying to which cause confusion

I want to be able to invite people via a personalized URL feels awkward and very non-crypto to ask people for an email address sure have them enter an email address when they sign up, I just don't want to have to ask them to invite them

Add “x” on preview links so caster can effectively hide the preview, including for multiple link casts (which itself was a nice added feature). Screenshot to illustrate below:

someone made their own warpcast/farcaster frontend UI -- make it so that *any* non-dev could easily export their social graph and develop their own frontend. rationale: this is supposedly the value prop of web3 social, so lean into that.
warpcast api changed their api few days ago and now cast with images aren't displayed properly on phrasetown ;(

Please fix the issue where if your message is a reply and then you type a message that is too long the cursor runs and hides behinds the keyboard and I can't see what I am typing on the mobile app
How do you generate notifications for NFT mints?
A purely visual way for users to adjust weights in their feed algorithm. I.e. enter users, topics, locations, get clickable/adjustable word map
“Super follow” feature. Click multiple times on a user to increase their weight in your feed. An inflating/deflating balloon could be a fun ui
I use the web app on iPad since there isn’t a native app, but there are some issues with scrolling and responsiveness. A little bit of polish could make it feel like a native app if you optimize layout, scrolling, and viewport settings for the iPad 🙏
I take back my first offering and replace it with this: I would fix the media support, especially in the realm of cropping of images, thumbnail behaviors, open up the media support for more such as yes, video even, but especially provide signifiers as to why a GIF (or other media?) fails to load in the cast preview..
When drafting a cast with an embed, mobile app anchors to bottom of the embed so you can’t scroll up and edit your text (10/10 on annoyance scale 🤬) Notification for a watched cast makes me click thru to find the new reply. I’d rather see the reply in the notifications tab (5/10 on annoyance scale)
Not quite a feature but I will take advantage of this post and bring it up - Not sure what it is, but images seem weirdly compressed and colours get smashed/destroyed when posted here (made a post earlier about it), ideally if more artists were onboarded this would need to be addressed for sure
