I think you’re right and we could probably take a more aggressive approach at banning people from casting in the channel, and if we take it too far we can always retreat a bit.
Should we create another channel for women where more traditional social media style posting* is welcome? * inspirational quotes, memes, images, photos of women leading with looks (attractiveness, sex appeal, whatever), a void where no one cares about signal and is content with noise
Our casts aren’t onchain. Just our user accounts (FIDs, identities) and social graph (followers). Cast data, recasts and reactions are stored at the protocol level in hubs (distributed architecture, maybe why no edit ) but not on blockchain
Why do you want more views? What are your goals or motivations for using farcaster?
Haha - it’s not about gender. If you grok it, you grok it. And all you need are loose norms, not specific rules. I want to write more specific rules or guidance for everyone else but just haven’t prioritized it yet bc too busy with other work and stuff! Some day, some day.
