inglourious basterds / picking a role because he is in a lot of good movies
🚧🚧WARNING 🚧🚧 No one is going to agree with me. Favorite movie: Malick's "Tree of Life" Best performance: Jack Conrad "Babylon" Most epic role: Tyler Durden, "Fight Club" Most nostalgic role: David Mills, "Seven"
"What's in the box?!" Impressive early uncredited cameo repertoire: Being John Malkovich, Less than Zero
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button — for the feels Fightclub — for why depleting testosterone levels in men is a threat to modern society
Hmm, it’s tied between Snatch and Fight Club. But Inglorious Basterds comes close 2nd.
1) I can't talk about it. 2) I still can't talk about it.
So many but I'll put one out there that I really like but doesn't get mentioned enough. Meet Joe Black
Do I have to be the guy who says "True Romance"? Because Floyd smoked the second page of the letter?
Burn after reading ("You think that's a Schwinn" lives rent free in my head)
okay he's got plenty of other iconic roles, but Bullet Train was a really fun movie and that's my contribution to this thread
Tyler Durden ofc but his roles with Tarantino (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Inglourious Basterds), and Seven are also great
Snatch, The Big Short, World War Z, Fury, Inglorious Bastards, Ocean’s (the whole lotta them), Twelve Monkeys, and SE7EN In no particular order aside from that last one. Also, I love his work. Also numero dos, my IMDB says I’ve watched 471 films and I know it’s off (in the “too few” direction).
his small role as a stoner in True Romance is hilarious! which evidently became the inspiration for Pineapple Express from wikipedia: according to producer Judd Apatow, who "thought it would be funny to make a movie in which you follow that character out of his apartment and watch him get chased by bad guys"
Once upon a time in Hollywood Honorable mentions: Billy Beane in Moneyball and Ben Rickert in The Big Short
Fight Club is maximum nostalgia; Inglorious Basterds is the desert island option.
Moneyball not getting enough love in this thread — so throwing in my late vote for it
