gonna get cancelled for this but why would anyone in their right mind use iMessage when Telegram exists
because nobody I know outside of crypto uses telegram
iMessage has a bizzare stranglehold on America, and I can't quite explain why this seems to be the only place its happened Can choose any of Telegram / Whatsapp / Signal, all far better products
because in the US if you have an iPhone 80-90% of your friends probably have an iPhone and it’s default
I interviewed a bunch of college kids they didn’t even know what telegram was. This was in Washington DC.
there’s something about Telegram’s design that “feels” sloppy. the product tolerances “feel” too loose. perhaps it’s just the general clutter.

My telegram is full of spam. My WhatsApp is clean and that’s what I use for friends. WhatsApp is iMessage for most of the world. Always surprises me when US uses iMessage.
Sending Apple Cash through iMessage is way easier than anything else, including crypto
What’s wrong with iMessage, though? I prefer using it to chat with iPhone users. In my mind Telegram is only for crypto. Even though I see many of my contacts joining TG, I wouldn’t chat with them in there.
Telegram is not end to end encrypted while iMessage is. Also great UX and deep integration in iOS and the rest of the Apple ecosystem.
A tiny corner of the US produces sci-fi shit, the rest of the country is basically at developing nation or mouth breather status
Telegram is not e2ee by default, meaning most of the time they have access to all your messages (because they specifically designed private chats to suck so nobody uses them)
Tbh the thought of telegram is overwhelming because of the volume. No spam in iMessage

Telegram is the *last* messenger I will use. Ever. I use it only if I’m forced to.
Normies use iMessage. It is a losing battle to get anyone to switch.
Outside US, I haven't seen anyone using iMessage. But the list goes on. Why use whatsapp when TG exists. Why TG when Signal exists And why Signal when Session exists. I use all of them, different app different audience.
