If you're not regularly using the Warpcast web client, why not?
Warpcast: desktop => app; mobile => app Twitter: desktop => web; mobile => app I’d do the same for Twitter if Twitter had desktop app.
Mobile ftw Didn’t use Twitter on web much either, unless it was “work related”. Aka mostly DMs
I try to save desktop time for focused activities. Most of my social use is on my phone in natural breaks throughout the day like in between meetings. PS This also explains (though not excuses) my frequent hurried typos.
It feels like it’s missing something. I don’t have a more specific answer than that.
The mobile app and desktop app work great for me. I kind of like having a separate app on my desktop to separate from my 30 tabs. 😅
If an app has a desktop app, I'll use it over web any time. The web app is (feels?) faster though.
inertia of setting it up, but I should give it a go. i use twitter primarily from laptop, so why not warpcast.
My group of friends is on twitter. And crypto twitter is on twitter. We have to make a concerted effort to overcome the network effect. I pledge to put more effort into it.
I only use my laptop for work, don’t really do anything else other than admin tasks and work on there Phone + iPad sufficient enough for my entertainment (and by extension, warpcast mobile)
I prefer apps over web in general. Web app are just another tab in the browser. Don’t feel “important”.
prefer desktop! less distracting, also tend to have my browser open fullscreen and i like the smaller window FC occupies
/: Android client Can't log in Slider not working as expected / didn't get confirmation code.
Trying the web client again after seeing your cast. How would I search for a user if I wanted to look at their recent casts? As far as I can tell, https:// warpcast .com/~/users only shows For You, Leaderboard, Recent; it doesn't offer to search for specific users
On desktop, I enjoy separate apps. I never was a fan of web apps only. If there isn‘t a desktop or at least a mobile app, I usually slowly stop using it until the need disappears.
I am logged-in to Phrasetown and I'm not logged-in to Warpcast desktop. Less friction for me.
Just used to using the desktop app. If I uninstalled the app I would probably use the Warpcast web client
Warpcast mobile have more features and settings, and works well on Android. It's just need some more quality of life updates.
I haven’t been able to find a distinct voice,,, and so I get confused about what to post about
typing names on mobile is hard. i'd send a video to somoene if i knew who and where.
Didn't know about it! Also hadn't seen any content with warpcast.com links. Going to try one now to see what happens: https://warpcast.com/slowcrypto/0x2f4578
i like desktop clients better and have been using it for ages so why would i switch now thank you for the web embed preview though, that's great
Because it is much more easy to use warpcast app in my mobile phone when I have a moment to post or interact
Mobile is my Twitter/browse client. Only use web for posting longer form threads which are more rare for me.
Because in India it feels more intuitive to use mobile for everything, even when you have a laptop handy.
i know i might be one of the very niche user, have been using warpcast(wc) using on an android emulator on my linux machine. when i tried to login on wc site first issue was because of emulator, couldn't really scan the QR code. so i scanned in on my phone and manually typed link into browser but i am not able to login
