Been playing in the dirt (gardening) more often. Apparently there are gut and skin microbiome benefits, with downstream perks from those changes. It’s also just nice to not be looking at screens all day. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8804003/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6436432/
It depends. Cold plunging, like everything else, is a tool. Sometimes the tool is multifunctional, but it’s worth depends on the intersection between your reason for using, and time/financial commitment. Some people pay hundreds for cold tub, or to go somewhere. I used to pay $7 to put 30lbs of ice in my tub. 🛁

Overheard a middle aged white woman in a Thai restaurant ask for her dish to be spicy “like I’ve been to Thailand”. I assume that story had a similar ending.
This is the rub. Is there a more equitable way that accounts for the entire student and their culture, upbringing and privilege, while still being able to implement a structured system for assessing merit.
Sounds interesting and tracks with what I know as a physiotherapist. I’ve been reading ‘The myth of Normal’ by Gabor Matte. It’s a bit long-winded, but fascinating discussion on mind-body connections based on clinical practice and research.
There’s a whole non-web3 community that is looking for a place to go from Twitter. Some tried mastodon and hated it. What’s the move? Idk how many would come but a few key folks would inspire the rest.
Probably not the same topic, but nothing seems quite as nefarious as having to turn my volume up to hear my show, then rapidly down to not be deafened by commercials.
Home prices and mortgage interest rates are both too damn high. Even the “all cash buyers” have stopped sending me letters.
Not quite a multiplayer game, but we’re working on something like that at Reputable. Sharing sleep stacks, health metrics, etc. Tell me more about how you picture it in multiplayer!
