Had a terrible past 2 weeks. Really need to watch some funny stuff. I would love to watch anything that is funny. Better yet if it is from the 90s without any of the PC stuff. Any recs?
The Waterboy Dumb and Dumber The Cable Guy Heavyweights Major Payne Wayne’s World
Parks and recreation was my feel good show when I was going through a rough patch last year
Sending good vibes your way and hope things turn around soon Ever see Crashing with Pete Holmes on HBO?
any episode from - I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson - Nathan for You
Happy Gilmore Ready to rumble Hot Rod (more recent) Little Nicky Road Trip/Euro Trip
Archer (except the latest few seasons if you're looking for total irreverence) is my go-to. I also will watch the occasional Vine compilation. Or various stand up: Jim Gaffigan, John Mulaney, Dave Chapelle, or if you're wanting to get absolutely dark, Anthony Jeselnik
Mythic Quest on Apple+. A comedy, yet brilliant especially season 2. Not 90s though.
not 90’s but I really enjoyed “You People” on Netflix also 👇 Wedding Crashers Pineapple Express Grandma’s boy
Blazing Saddles and The Sting (currently on Netflix) are my go to. Not sure I’d have survived my last deployment to Iraq without Blazing Saddles.
the grinder with rob lowe - one of the best and funniest single seasons of TV, a delight.
“Only Murders in the Building,” with Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, got more genuine LOLs out of me than any other show in recent memory.
Seinfeld checks all your boxes. 90s (started in 89 and ended in 98). One of the only shows where being funny was the only goal, the writers room motto was “no hugging, no lessons learned”. And no PC stuff … not that there’s anything wrong with that. 😐
A hilarious movie is OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies. It is a French movie, starring Jean Dujardin (who would later win the best actor Oscar for A Silent Movie). He plays a completely non-PC version of a James Bond spy character. I literally fell off my chair during one scene. 🤣
