Sit down, no goals, no specific question in mind, pen and paper, tea, alone, night time.

I used to make a list of what I'd like to do/learn/experience in the coming year. Now I'm switching more to "what should I remove that's not essential?". I also liked this link (found on FC!) https://stephanango.com/40-questions

I've been following this one since 2013: Just write down all the awesome things you achieved this year in different areas: career, sports, relationships, traveling, etc.. No goals, no reviews, no Ls.

I like to vision board w/o a specific question in mind. Once the clippings are in place, I step back and see what questions/answers emerge.

1. Read through each journal entry and distill key experiences, thoughts, observations and learnings (~150-200 entries) 2. Work to extract the 2-3 most meaningful ‘ah ha’ moments and the experiences that led to them 3. Reflect on tangible outcomes in light of where I was 5 and 10 years ago (gratitude exercise)
