gm, i've read 53 books in 2023 so far, will probably crush my record for number of books read in a year (i think it was ~50?) — aiming at 100 books this year i've been reading 20-50 books over the last 4 years consistently, trying to get to 1000 books in 20 years ama
Amazing numbers. Keep it up, you will reach the 1000. I hope you are finding great books. After all quality and enjoy the time are important too. I was in a similar mission in the past, but the covid year will be impossible to overtake. I would have more time, but focused on web3, I stopped reading
do you read every page linearly or have some other strat? a friend of mine reads several books on a similar topic in parallel somehow 😵💫
That’s so impressive. I’m a lifelong reader with serious ADHD. My pace is slow. I’m a lifelong reader but it’s never come easy
How many did you start reading? Guessing that number is higher, and would also love to know what you do if you don’t like one.
Amazing! May I inquire about the number of hours you dedicate to reading each week?
I gave up reading books few years ago, I genuinely don't have time for it. I regret it and want to restart again. Maybe next year I'll make it📖
gg I did this for 2 years then became a dad, now coasting on 15-20 / yr ever since
Do you take the time to reflect on what you read or do you absorb the knowledge? I prefer to take my time because I feel like it’s the best way to truly appreciate what a book has to offer.
What’s your ratio of books read to listened this year? How do you pick your books? Love your summaries btw
Do you finish one before moving to another? Or do you read multiple books at a time?
Damn! Good for you! I can’t do this any more. The highlight of my life in book reading was when at 14 I finished entire children library in my hometown and I was allowed to move up to the adult one 2years ahead and begun reading shit that I shouldn’t have 🫣
Love how you’re constantly challenging yourself all the time. What kind of books do you like the best? Do you learn more about human behaviour and the world from good fiction or self help books? Is it peak NPC behaviour to like a character from a book so much that you make them your entire personality?
That's amazing! Have you found a good routine for fitting that much reading into your day-to-day?
Very impressive, congrats! How do you find the time for this? Do you manage to do this on top of a full-time job, or are you retired/ part-time working?
