There’s certainly still a lot of that, but personally feel like the “maxi culture” has subsided strongly throughout this bear market (if you compare to the 2021 heydays)

Still bullish $CRV

What about smart contract risk of the bridge itself though (unless you go via a centralized player)

Surprised how many new L1s still emerge on a constant basis in the crypto space

Came back bullish from EthCC

Very impressive, congrats! How do you find the time for this? Do you manage to do this on top of a full-time job, or are you retired/ part-time working?

Seems like a great opportunity for Farcaster to capitalize on the Twitter shitshow 🤷🏻‍♂️

Social norms/rules play a big role there I’d say. But in general much less need for moderation, no one is forced to read extremist books but if that shit pops up on your social media timeline is a different story. And can spread much faster there so in general bigger impact

Do you mean like newspapers & books? Or conversations at the local bar and the like?

Yeah I think Reddit’s approach is pretty good, definitely in the right direction (more distributed vs. concentrated decision making). Twitter’s new crowd-sourced fact-checking also seems to be working quite well so far

Content moderation is the hardest and most sensitive problem to solve for Social Media apps, decentralized and centralized. +20yrs and we still haven’t figured it out, and I’m not sure we will anytime soon

Whether you like it or not, that’s exactly how it is as of now. Hopefully they will come up with a better approach soon

Fully understand the need for this (noone wants to be surprised with nasty shit like extreme violence on their feed), but once it comes to censorship we need super clear and transparent rules. It’s a slippery slope and easily opens doors to subjective/biased censorship of different opinions
