Ok, I have an idea. Lots of us are making stuff and we've been shilling our own work here What if we did a sort of secret santa where we each pick someone else's project out of a hat and we spend a week casting about it instead of about our own thing
Thinking of you @adrienne @danicaswanson @cassie @notdevin.eth @macbudkowski @kmacb.eth @timdaub.eth @farcasteradmin.eth @ted @kazi @awkquarian.eth
I wanna up the ante — what if we do the random pick but cast about _using_ it? Whether that’s building on it or trying it. It’s usually great to get early usage feedback esp if reviewers aren’t prone to Mom Test reactions.
I think it would be cool to use another product and talk about this (to @cassie 's point about actually using it). I am not sure about the "instead" part. If we do this week over week, we can't talk about our own product for a fairly long amount of time and I am not sure that makes sense. Should be in addition.
Another way to do this is everyone commit to back one project a week at a time and push it on all the socials A group of us did something similar in a group chat when I needed a vote to get on mirrorxyz. We put all of our votes in for one each cycle. It was super effective and efficient
I hereby declare permissionless innovation because I need to get back to work. Here's a signup form or do whatever you want https://coda.io/@connor/shilling-point
I think it’s a great idea! I love sharing other people’s good work and already do a lot of recommending, including Option. Old consultant habits die hard.
In… @farcasteradmin.eth fetch me my random project distributor. It should accept all shillable projects and deliver an assigned product discreetly to our private messages.
This is awesome. Just signed up...mostly to shill others' stuff. My hustle project is not in a shill-able state at present
Just joined Farcaster and asked @hyper what the vibe vs Twitter was. Saw this and had to retract the question—I get it!
