Isn‘t complacency healthy? My understanding is that arrogance would have to be fought. Or maybe I‘m falsely translating into German…

Align life intentions with real underlying motivations. I find complacency is a symptom of not having fire in the belly for what we’re trying to accomplish. And find it helpful to ask why I’m being complacent. The answers help me realign.

Find activities that foster the present moment. That’s all there is. “Don't be obsessed with your desires Danny. The Zen philosopher, Basho, once wrote, 'A flute with no holes, is not a flute. A donut with no hole, is a Danish.' He was a funny guy.” -Ty Webb

By tuning into my values and my needs. Complacency can come from depression, anxiety, dissociation, and acting out of integrity with one’s self. I find change works better when I remember I am a social animal and part of an interconnected whole, not a piece of software.

Sometimes I just think about how much time has passed and how fast it goes. Like even though today is 3rd Jan, its almost 1% of the year gone already
