I use my Sony MDR-506 for recording, mixing, & casual listening purposes. They’ve been the best bang-for-your-buck wired headphones I’ve ever purchased under $100. In terms of wireless, noise-cancelling headphones, the Bose QC 45s are a solid choice at ~$200 to $400. Just beware of ear-fatigue lol

you’re not looking for this rec but the convenience of AirPods Pro trumps everything else 😅
I really enjoy my Sony WH1000XM4 Not sure why they chose the longest & obnoxious name, but easily worth the price. They may have come out with a new model since purchasing few yrs ago
Beats Fit Pro I prefer them because they don't fall easily compared to Airpods and others yet they have a great featureset as well.
Think I’m not the only one liking my AirPods Pro. 😁 But at home really want to relax and listen to music going for Beats. 🎶
I'm a filthy casual with my gaming SteelSeries Arctis 7P. It's comfortable, around-ear, and is sufficient for my casual music/movie/gaming needs. Also comes with a wireless dongle to let me use it wirelessly with my PS5.
I went through the whole midwit chart Started cheap, went through my Bose / Sennheiser / Airpod phase, now I'm back to cheap (Anker something) They work 🤷🏻♂️
Sony WH-1000XM4 - finally stopped grinding my teeth when I sleep on a plane. God sends
For over ear, Bose QuietComforts are the bomb, have held up for over 5+ years and still sound great and can take calls
Sony WH-1000XM4. Used it for 2 years across iPhone, iPad, Mac. Music, videos, work/family calls. Super light and comfy. Elite noise cancelling and audio. Some sync / settings have a tiny bit of friction, but overall v strong recomm!
AirPods Max Bc of great noise cancellation, music quality sounds even better than high end headphones
I was a Airpods max hater now that’s the only headphones I use mostly cause of how comfortable it is
At my desk I use a Sony WH-1000XM4, happy with it. I'm looking to buy a pair of OpenRock S open-ear conduction earbuds, want something that will stay in place (most TWS don't stay in for me). https://www.oneodio.com/collections/openrock/products/openrock-s-air-conduction-sport-earbuds
Main use Focal Elegia for desktop. Fender FXA5 Pro in ear monitors with Spinfit ear tips and pure silver mmcx cable, but I'll switch to a custom molded model soon for portable use.
