Do you regularly check: 1. NFT tab on user's profiles 2. NFT mint feed 3. NFT discover tab And on a scale of 1-10, how sad would you be if they went away? 1 - would be good actually 10 - I'd stop using Warpcast
1 wouldn't be "good" because it's just indifferent to me, but the space could probably be used in some other ways
i do like when a nft pops up on my feed and i can mint it but never check those tabs 1
8 - not ready (yet?) to give up on using NFTs as a core primitive in making social connections
1 If it went away, I would be 9 out of 10 sad as I believe it is one of the key features of web3 social platforms to discover other owners through NFT collections.
I pretty often check users profiles, never the other two. I mentioned in a previous gripes thread - it feels almost useless without a "copy as target" or "cast this NFT" button. So I'll say 5, could go either way. Either finish implementation or bail, but it's not great as is
No more ever since active badge got introduced, warpcast UI is not made for checking nft
Speaking of, when I check my own profile’s NFT tab in Warpcast, some Base NFTs are missing that are otherwise visible on OpenSea (https://opensea.io/AviationDoctor). For example, the Farcaster dolphin. Any idea why that is?
6? I'd be a little sad because I have hopes current implementation would be improved. Specifically, I'd love to be able to select which NFTs are visible. Currently, it shows everything including stuff I'd hide in my OS hidden folder. Would love it if the NFT tab could be a gallery of NFTs I want to show off 🖼️
1. Rarely 2. Daily 3. Never Sadness 4/10, used to care about them much more
Don't regularly check them but it's more about implementation. I want to build an nft-focused client for power users, but it feels like the core FC experience (WC) needs NFT integration too. Nfts are social tokens that represent transactions deeper than likes, follows, etc. Huge networking and discovery potential
1- all the time before following back 2- never 3- never 1-10? Meh Want- ability to tap to enlarge minted embed. Currently we brought to a mint site when all I want to do is zoom in on the art (term used loosely).
Never to all, but I don't care about NFT's as much as other people do! Mabe some people really like! 🤷♂️
I’d rather automatically see collections that I have in common with the caster. Maybe it’s little icons in the main feed or on their profile.
1. No 2. No 3. No I like the notifications when people I follow buy something.
i don't regularly check any of those i regularly use the Share function from Notifications and i mint from the timeline or Notifications frequently i occasionally check the Discover trending tab to see if my NFT is on it lol for the screenshot 6
We‘ve used this a lot with @kiwi and while it was working it helped grow our community. I think many crypto devs could profit from this feature but it has been badly maintained for a while now.
1. Frequently, depends on the profile im checking out 2. Rarely 3. Frequently Overall, 5 if it goes away. won't stop using Warpcast but maybe disappointed if it happens
8 — I love this feature & would be sad to see it go. I probably look once a week at either someone’s profile or the feed. I also love the notifications of trending mints. As well as seeing mine in my notifications so I can easily share it.
2 NFT tab on profile is OK as a way to express yourself, but other features feel spammy. Think legit projects can advertise themselves through regular channels (Don't really see those mint and discover feeds on Android though, so no longer bothering me)
I only do NFT related things outside of warpcast tbh. i checked it maybe once out of curiosity but i use this app as a social media not as an NFT tool
8 - Farcaster basically reintroduced me to NFTs lately with the easy mint button in notifications
Never check, 2 (in favor of simplification) Seems like a good thing for a specialized power user client
1: Yes, when I visit a user's profile for the first time. Used to do it more often. 2: Often 3: Often 6
7- Because I hope one day I’ll be able to display my favourites NFTs on my profile
1. No 2. Yes 3. Sometimes 5 There's a ton of stickiness potential here when you consider FC waitlisters (traders/collectors), but builders and creators will lean more to the left (1) given how they use their time.
