It's a much more noble strategy than mine. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Nick Land said pretty much the same thing but in a much more obtuse and polarising way

Indy5000 is my team! P6 isn't bad when my strategy was basically to get Verstappen and Red Bull, then spend what's left on the cheapest drivers.

EA started as "how can I spend my earnings to produce the most benefit for the world" It then somehow transformed into "we demand authoritarian control over the development of society because we're nice, caring people" So either it's been taken over or it's always been an example of the Motte and Bailey fallacy

This is an obvious benefit to society yet the media will demonise self-driving cars as soon as there's a fatality, and the tech hating government will then introduce onerous legislation. (see also nuclear power)

Uninstall the app from your phone and only use X/Twitter from your computer when you have a deliberate intention. Doomscrolling when bored was the worst thing for my productivity, energy levels and mental health. Everything improved noticeably after I stopped.

Completely agree. The notes from a first reading are often really obvious points. On a second reading they get in the way as you're trying to make deeper connections
