If we had a button on each channel to get a mobile push notification for every new top-level cast in a channel (and assume we filter for spam, off-topic), would you subscribe to at least 1 channel with this? https://warpcast.com/rish/0x2f2384
I’d give it a try for but prob for channels that I know aren’t busy atm
Definitely, maybe even two if we get channels for more communities 😈 There’s just under 100 clone holders, but I’m sure there’s more holding other RTFKT NFTs overall… maybe a channel of all their contracts combined? 🤔
As a user, I would’ve loved this feature so I could see cool posts on my lockscreen. As a lead this will make my life easier as well.
It would probably be the reason I start using channels more. Seems a lot of channels aside from the most popular ones are really dead. I avoid using them because it's like casting to an empty room.
Yes, though I think it would help to have multiple “filter levels” to choose from
no, i have very low threshold for notifications so its understandable; i only prefer direct messages + mentions
For sure. Lack of push notifications for specific channels in massive discord servers is 90% of why I don't keep up with those channels. Out of sight, out of mind
probably not - I usually inbox zero my sidebar and check new casts a couple times per day, but most of the ones I like are general enough still that they aren’t 100% signal
Yes, but I’d prefer app badge counter (like muted notifications in Telegram/Whatsapp). Higher signal than bolded title without the distraction
Honestly, no. But I'd be happy to subscribe to people so I get a (non push) notifications whenever they post. This is how I use Twitter most of the time.
Could be a nice option, particularly for tighter-knit community channels
Would subscribe to a daily email, but not a push notification. I try to avoid push notifications unless it's something I need to deal with rn.
I think the ideal would be this feature but filtered by when it crosses a specific threshold of likes — 0, 5, 10, etc (user sets the number)
Yes, but I’d like it even more if there was a way to link optional keyword searches or a minimum activity threshold to it.
