100% the challenge tho is you can never fucking escape google. that fucking calendar and gsuite won't release you. so you still need that gmail, and you still gotta make that gmail work w/ your other accounts. rant over

I can live with my Gmail as a gsuite utility email. I already do for work. Question is switching to apple calendar? Could be okay?

The Google Calendar thing is really the key lock-in point. If I can ever get my better half to ditch Google Calendar for iCloud’s calendaring, I’ll be in iCloud so fast… The Google Docs/Sheets/Slides collab features are good, but I’ve been surprised how little they get used outside of Google-centric shops.
