Right now I use Photomator on the iPad to post-process my photos. However, I *may* switch from the iPad to a Chromebook soon. Does anyone here use a Chromebook when editing their photos? What app(s) do you use? Is Lightroom the only serious option, or is there an Android or web app that’s as good as Photomator?
“Two Moons” My first experiment in digitally combining two images. I think it came out *relatively* well…

After much thought, I’d say “Seven Samurai”. Been thinking about my preferences/values for software since reading this @vgr thread: https://warpcast.com/vgr/0x7ad040 I think for me it’s something like: Utility (do I want to do the thing?) > Data portability/longevity > Security > Usability/Ecosystem > Cost (to a point) > Open Source > Privacy YMMV of course.

I wonder if protocol people all have an origin story where one of these values failed in a big/important way. E.g., I got obsessed with data portability after I lost years of writing & art due to a bad backup. But for most people existing centralized gardens work just well enough that they never get seriously burned.
