I've always been curious to know the history of the "connect" UX in Metamask. Was it the first to do it, or did it originate somewhere else? I wonder if there is any regret for that decision, or do the creators to this day think it is/was the best choice and if not what they would have done different? cc: @danfinlay

Oh I think it’s fundamentally flawed to initiate every interaction by disclosing your entire portfolio, and everyone is racing to reinvent that mistake the hardest.
