New Farcaster channels on Warpcast! OP Stack MJ Space Travel SF e/acc Design News AI Chess Tabletop Music Philosophy Art Neynar
Now that we have many channels available, it would be nice to customize the order they appear in. I know you are prob working on this but thought I’d share.
Farcaster's developments are very interesting and I look forward to the near future
I might be dumb but how can I get my posts to appear in one of these channels?
Damn, is this an app for nerds? (me, immediately joining 10 of these channels)
How many Worldcoin for an Anime channel? Just name your price, I keep a stash of eyeballs for emergencies!
we can fix this for you, we charge $999 USD/bit, happiness + confidence included for free, .-)
Eventually, aren’t we going to need some nested taxonomy, e.g., cities/SF or gaming/chess? Or do you intend for every channel to be top level like /r/ subreddits are?
Additional question (sorry for monopolizing your attention today): are you considering running community surveys about future channels, so the ones with the most votes/traction/interest get created first?
This new feature is pretty nice. Great to be able to group content based on interest!
these are great energy around channels has really opened up more interesting discussion
Is crossposting something you've thought about? Or would someone share their post from one channel into another channel? (Like old school reddit cross posting)
any plans for trading-related channels? stonks, FinTwit, CT etc. seem to bring a ton of engagement and activity, as well as many signal-to-noise challenges maybe worth tackling after learning from news/politics? I'd be interested in a trading discussion forum where on-chain reputation is integrated somehow
When photography? But for that we would need full width photos in this client
ok still need moar: - the expanse - foundation - star trek ... but I'll settle just for SF (the other SF)
Its obvious that people want to create channels, can the current form factor work well with that? Feels like totally distinct spaces, like Reddit, is inevitable?
Channels - nice. Creation of custom channels with assigning admin/moderators/users with posting rights/users with viewing rights - even better :)
