Is this a uniquely gen z thing? I have like 15-20 of my friends on find my at all times, and they have my location at all times too
i'm gen-z and i only have 2 people on Find My Friends, but i know a lot of people who have 15-20+ people on there
I have 10-15 people currently. But am building a new location sharing app that gives fine grained controls over how your location is shared
My kids do that. I know where my kids are, but I don’t share my location with them. If the kids don’t pick up I use the lost-my-phone feature. It then rings super loud. Works every time
i think less of an age thing, more of a personality thing. I have a ton of friends that refuse to give up their location to anyone other than s/o
I see the women in my life do this more often but I still have my immediate family and 3 of my best homies 🥹 -gen z’ooor
this is blowing my mind. i use it for family but never even thought of it outside of that
As a gen z I would probably never set up anything like this (don’t think it’s a male thing )
I'm lame: temporary shares thru Google maps; permanent share with wife on life360.
I just looked and didn’t even know I had these folks sharing/tracking me. 😵💫
Millennial here; That sounds like a nightmare, I don't like the idea of publicizing my location at all times. I'll definitely share it when needed but not all the time. Do you share your location for spontaneous meet ups?
