“When does life get fun?” How would you respond to someone that ask this?
When you have enough money to live comfortably in your zip code, have enough free time to pursue something that resonates with you, AND figure out how to quiet the voice of anxiety in your head telling you what you SHOULD be doing 🫡
hm of life is consumed by the journey that those who have achieved it or catch themselves in the moment only describe as some twisted painful series of unfortunate events. love is fun and life has fun moments. life is a struggle to survive with some subjective and non-subjective guiding principles the child 🔄

My thought after seeing all these amazing answers. Original: “when you decide for it to be fun” Post replies: “when it does.”
shift in narrative. Fun is spending time with the people you care about the most, working on things that are a value add to society, and prioritising hobbies that have some competitive nature to them! I feel kids also play a role here!
Another from me: When you can dance in the middle of the street to no music. Another. When you cant keep yourself from dancing when listening to music.
Once you are able to make it fun I think a lot of folks I know started out sticking to other people's expectations which aren't fun at all but once you break out of that you can choose your own fun
When you start to amuse yourself instead of looking for external sources of fun :)
