it could be illusory but I feel like I get a boost in iq points when casting, as opposed to tweeting.
Same reason I think anyone does: I think I have something worth sharing.

feels more fun than twitter because it’s inherently cosier. i don’t have many twitter followers but enough to make me second guess some tweets/be conscious of who is watching etc. FC is a lovely reset from all of that.

everyone is goal aligned with mutual growth and mass replacement of current consumer infrastructure imo
The early adopter community. Similar (but not as manufactured) phenomenon with the early Clubhouse days where you could rub elbows with Oprah. Quality suffers as it opens up, as always.
1. People want to be here. 2. Sufficiently decentralized is both virtuous and practical… a combination I want to support.

Bird app felt saturated with hacks, tourists and clickbait. I cast because it has brought positivity, help and insight. I feel more comfortable to cast about things here that I wouldn’t be as comfortable casting about on bird app.
Because the buidlers are here, so far I have seen 0 drama, only positive conversations
It's fun to put your thought out there and actually be listened vs. trying to break through the Twitter's noise
The hope that there will be a better collection of strangers here, more likely to be concerned with the future and our role in it. I’m basing that on who I learned about Farcaster from. So really, just testing out that theory.
I feel like I have more alignment with my peers on here—plus it’s new and interesting!
Feels pretty refreshing to be on a platform with only ~5000 ppl on it, hopefully the good vibes can scale up with more users In general it’s good to try new things, inertia is a helluva drug :)
I like the idea of experimenting on thoughts as a whole where in a new way incorporating the trustless nature of decentralization . Don’t know where it will go. But if it succeeds will impact how millions of people intake and share information.
Fun to kick the tires. Also easier to make a new email address than to unsubscribe from a bunch of mailing lists
Looking over the replies, I saw a number that spoke to me. I sun those up as: Authentic community experience.
I like to be early and I’m very curious to see how this space will development.
