Where are people registering new domain names now that Google Domains is owned by Squarespace?
Cloudflare (felt closest in terms of no-crossell tech focused management of domains that Google domains had)
Cloudflare - no markup https://www.cloudflare.com/en-gb/products/registrar/
Cloudflare. Best pricing I think. The only issue is you can’t change name servers, but if that’s not an issue for you then go with Cloudflare! I also used iwantmyname (https://iwantmyname.com), and was recently looking at dnsimple (https://dnsimple.com) again, we used it at an old place of work.
I've always used namecheap and never had an issue. Their support is pretty good too
Namecheap since 2016 Coupon codes and discounts frequently available
always had mine at netcup.de which is a german hoster with nice support. Though their English docs are mediocre at best, support can speak english though
I’ve been using Namecheap for the first year since they subsidize the costs. After the promo rate I transfer to Cloudflare
I’m kicking the tires on Porkbun (which just uses Cloudflare on the backend for DNS) and Cloudflare. I have my longterm 20+ year NameCheap account and it’s …fine for registrar, but not for DNS.
Pair Domains. Bought my first personal domain from them in 1999. Reactive and human customer support.
