I just got Neuromancer and realized I haven't read non-fiction in a long time What is your reading ratio of fiction to non-fiction?
I was non-fiction only for nearly 8ish years, but I’ve been fiction-only the last 18 months and been having a blast.
0:100 a terrible habit of exclusively reading non fiction. but I did come across @meltem Sci Fi reading list earlier & grabbed a couple titles https://www.meltemdemirors.com/sci-fi-reading-list
1:1 Neuromancer read by Gibson is awesome by the way. https://goodereader.com/blog/audiobooks/listen-to-william-gibson-read-neuromancer
1:4 - my job requires me to consume so much non-fictiony stuff that my reader-self needs a break
Such a fun book. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. My ratio is 1:1 if you count comic books
My gut was 1:1...but my book list tells me 1:3(!)...but i'm definitely certain i think i work out 5x per week 😅right?
Reading a book - 5:1 Finishing a book - 1:1 Prob speaks to habits of fiction being smashed through on holiday. How you finding Neuromancer start out?
I usually have one of each going at a time. Read non-fiction before bed (when I mostly read) and the fiction during free time (not much these days)
100% fiction - about 12-24 books a year. All non-fiction is audiobooks or podcasts.
