why I can't copy text from casts in the Android app? Or is that only on my device?
He also totally misses that the non-retail users actually care a lot for decentralization. Governments and big institutions won't use a technology which is still in beta stage and where some central force ,which they don't control, can just turn it off.

Yes I did. i was hoping to find some reason, source or evidence that explains that a static number of followers makes a good differentiator. I couldn't find it.
Like if you want some followers requirement, make it a bit more sophisticated. Like weight in if their followers itself cast engaging casts. Or are these followers mainly from the same cluster who follow each other etc.

If you switch to GrapheneOS, you can do it gradually, and have a profile that has Google services active but mainly use a profile without. Definitely not slow, and actually far more battery friendly than having Google services phoning home all the time
privacyI see now recently a lot of casts in unrelated channels, can we have maybe some category for reports, which could make it easier to auto filter them out? This recast / follow to mint spam is the same as when wav3s farming gave a boost to lens on users, but made me leave as real content got burried
