I’d say the only thing you should keep an eye out for, in any language, is how good their grammar is. If they’re really struggling with it by 6th grade, hire someone to teach them correct grammar.
A friend of a friend adopted two Russian sisters (~4 y/o and ~9 y/o) way back in the 90s after the collapse of the USSR. The kids didn’t speak a lick of English and their new parents didn’t speak a lick of Russian. Less than six months after moving to the US, the kids were fluent in English. Your kids will be fine
I stand corrected. I emailed him about starting and finishing that many books in a day, and his exact response was, “many days, not all! Sometimes more.”

I’m pretty sure he doesn’t finish them all in a day. He rotates between them.
You also knock two birds with one stone. No screen time for an hour before bed + something productive to keep you occupied so that you don’t reach for your phone.
There’s conflicting publishing dates, but all of the online sites say October. It might be releasing in bookstores sooner? Don’t quote me on that one.

Sweet potatoes are the best. You can cut them up into cubes or wedges, but if you’re too lazy for even that, boil/steam them them in a pressure cooker or in the stove. When they’re soft enough to eat, peel them (or not; that’s ok, too), add salt, and enjoy! Btw I highly recommend buying Asian sweet potatoes.
+1 on the Boyd biography. It’s great. Certain to Win is on my to-read list, but friends who’ve read it highly recommend that book as well.

I’ve been eating shakshuka my whole life, and I’ve never tried putting sugar in! I’ll try it next time, but I personally think it doesn’t need sugar. If you want sweetness, you can make the veg ratio is 2:1:1 onion:tomato:bell pepper.
