Would be cool to have some kind of snooze/reminder feature for casts. I feel like, superhuman-inspired, herocast is the best way to βworkβ on farcaster. For me thatβs triaging notifications, replying to important casts in specific channels, etc. Snooze and scheduled casts would help.
It's difficult to find new people on Warpcast. You can try using @herocast & @fiids.Their feed is less 'processed'. Plus, fiids has an interface that is more friendly for general exploration.
thanks for 35 votes or 7% of all votes for herocast ππΌ motivates me to keep buidling. I will honor your votes by listening to Got7 all day β https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Got7
gm i don't have any voting power but if i could vote, i would def support herocast & alertcaster since we use them everyday at kiwi. also planning to use neynar and rish is super helpful guy :) https://prop.house/purple/retroactive-funding-round-3/
can you dm or reply with the wallet address or ens? @pixel for farcaster data analytics @hellno for herocast @haardikkk for teleport @ghostlinkz.eth for outcasters @matallo.eth for pincaster
@hellno herocast suggestion: replay shortcut. I imagine it would encourage replying while feeling like a hero.
oh hi there ππΌ first user-created channel on herocast: @0xluo.eth
Want to use something like this instead of the DMs we have in TG (unless the questions actually need to be private). Helps build a public knowledge base of how the protocol works Will happily recommend Herocast to customers once you're ready :) All our customers are already on FC so the only onboarding is to the app
yeah moving in this direction. herocast has very basic cast β thread view in notifications. Want to add this to feed and channels too. Threads in FC can be more nested than in Slack, need to adapt it slightly
maybe herocast will work for this? @hellno need the ability to link cast urls when pointing to already written solutions
herocast currently: desktop-first, with some responsive design to have basic functionality on mobile. I thought of it as sub-channels or threads in the main Nouns FC channel, that can go more in-depth on proposals, but is still lightweight
When I scroll the twitter timeline on desktop with J and K, it always keeps the focused tweet at the top aligned with the navbar. How can I replicate this effect for @herocast when scrolling casts? currently feels a bit janky
of course! youβve been shipping some great features and Iβve enjoyed using herocast π«‘
thank you π offchain component to store and share channels with all herocast users. channel feed is powered by @neynar via parentUrl
this is awesome! are you simply using the parentUrl and then indexing/aggregating on herocast?
on herocast: yes. for example you can see the Purple Retro founding channel I added. on Warpcast: others donβt see the channels you added, but casts posted via herocast appear like this: https://warpcast.com/hellno/0x1b9e07
FYI: these channels help you and others to follow and pin in _herocast_. Casts are visible in Warpcast and other clients. β‘οΈβ‘οΈ Herocast channels are currently not visible in Warpcast, but casts appear in all clients β¬ οΈβ¬ οΈ
