you can manage multiple accounts on @herocast : https://herocast.xyz/ and i think this should also soon be the case on Opencast too : https://opencast.stephancill.co.za/
herocast is basically ready for this with permissionless channels. Is there an API where I can automatically get the latest props?
@herocast is ready β getting a bit nounish by integrating with nouns.build https://warpcast.com/hellno/0x4b31f401 working on more integrations next weekend. what do you want to see?
It's a choice on the protocol level, not related to herocast :) https://github.com/farcasterxyz/protocol/discussions/71
sorry, missed this before! I've added some additional info for this form, because it was very confusing. the URL can be anything, for example the herocast channel points to 'https://herocast.xyz'. Channels from Warpcast and others are pointing to onchain NFT contracts in a specific format CAIP-19
happy to help with onboarding and would love to know how to make herocast the Farcaster client of your choice! :)
makes sense, thanks. I understand the protocol is general; every client gets to implement its own interpretation; and WC is the Schelling Point will try again once I see how the ecosystem evolves from here. Until then, you will find me ranting away via @herocast !
Learning in Public @kevinoconnell @ravi I minted a channel NFT - Herocast: fine (w/ image) - WC: "unsupported embed", no image - Opencast: no channel tag https://warpcast.com/artlu.eth/0xa4d03eba other channels look better, in all clients: https://warpcast.com/herocast/0xa89e2ccc what should I do diff next time?
shipping herocast log ποΈπͺ΅ 5th one this week https://paragraph.xyz/@hellno/herocast-log-nr5
early experiments with permissionless channels via Herocast and Hypeshot hoping the demand is as great as the clamor https://warpcast.com/ravi/0xf482d0ea https://warpcast.com/hellno/0xf6d6b2e6
... for cross-client compatibility. It would be a real shame if different microblogging clients used different length limits and a post made on eg herocast was too long for and therefore didn't show up on warpcast Same with cross-compatibility b/w future potential forum-style or discord-style clients
I'm super interested in supporting this with @herocast - can automatically integrate Noun proposals as channels
I can do this automatically in herocast if thereβs an API where I can get all pending and previous props?
say more about 2nd class citizen treatment? I disagree but am open to ur pov: - protocol is permissionless+nearly free - Neynar provides api/infra diversity - FC team gave great visibility to Discove, FarQuest, Herocast, Opencast, CastStorage, Farcord, TilesCool, +more - hasn't stepped on or co-opted innovation AFAICT
I still don't see it but that makes sense because I was posting from herocast.
think you can make one on herocast? haven't tried yet https://app.herocast.xyz/channels
Thanks. Nice! Initial feedback: itβd be convenient to have vim keybindings such as j, k to navigate casts and other parts of the interface. Relatedly, @hellno is working on @herocast that has a keyboard-driven interface
@herocast solves this by giving you: Cmd + K β random channel π
join @herocast early if you want to repeat this experience as often as possible! π
feels like most Farcasters are in the US and might be less annoyed by this. @billzh did a great job in Aburra app with this. I might add auto-convert to @herocast if comes up frequently and not just for myself :)
