gm testing Herocast. Love the interface, never thought of my socials in an e-mail kinda way
As someone who prefers laptop over mobile. I'm really excited @herocast , it has the potential.
hard time choosing between these three because they all have their pros and cons: - warpcast web: full featured but requires a lot of mouse interactions which is not my preference - fiids: great way to see multiple feeds at a time, I like that - herocast: great with keyboard, might replace warpcast once fully finished
Herocast is really nice. So good to see more alternate clients and I love the vision of keyboard centric "superhuman for Farcaster" especially as I do a lot of triaging and responding to comments and notifcations. herocast.xyz
We are testing @herocast so that our @kiwi profile shares the most popular links directly to this channel. @hellno the only thing is that it doesn't fetch the preview images from the links when posted to a channel. not sure if that's the Channels thing or is it something on the Herocast side
I like this idea π‘ tried this with @herocast but couldnβt pull it off. It made the whole flow much slower and annoying
small snag with setting up @herocast @hellno posting publicly because it's related to @warpcast mobile too (cc @dwr.eth @varunsrin.eth): i only have an iphone on hand right now, thus 1 warpcast account i was using the desktop Mac app for @gang but that doesn't let me log in I can log out and back in again, but...

Yeah herocast has keyboard shortcuts to switch between accounts. will dm you
it's possibly slow sync, account migration glitch, shadowban, or Dan-hammer. I'm in the same boat. You mention at least 3 in that linked thread, I only see 2: one mutual follow, and 1 I don't follow but who follows me (and I've liked) in this thread, I can only see 1 reply but in herocast I see 2 replies before me
fixed on neynar and herocast, works with signers created after OP migration / last Thursday. works for me here https://warpcast.com/hellno/0x8135cd
If you tried to @ mention someone, there was a bug in herocast, itβs now fixed. If you tried to use a signer from before OP deployment, Iβm currently figuring out if those are supposed to work. Waiting on Neynar for a server error on the hub as well.
herocast uses signers, just migrated to onchain signers using the new API endpoints. Did you login via QR before migration?
I thought I logged in using a QR code, but I just tried to cast via Herocast and it didn't work. I'll let @hellno confirm this. Is there a way to see/verify onchain how many EdDSA keypairs one has created?
@herocast β Iβm building this with focus on desktop keyboard-based navigation and multi-account support DM me if you want to try
Are you planning on improving the UX for non-Warpcast channels like the ones in herocast or Sportscaster (@joshmiller ) ?
