i sleep in them. the amount of times they have not charged all the way or one of the airpods did not charge at all was driving me nuts.

1st gen no magsafe — case battery barely holds, airpods last about 2.5h 1st gen magsafe — case in a crappy state, airpods got warranty replaced, they last about 4h on a single charge 2nd gen — got them this summer, better NC and volume controls on stem, really good battery
