2 but would classify as Bitcoin + altcoins (pre-Ethereum)
1 - 2011 started building webapps on Bitcoin nodes
3 but started building on bitcoin in 2015 (anyone remembers 21.co the bitcoin computer?)
Also 1, sadly was running a CPU miner in the early days, lost the drive, didn't think anything of it then. 😩
~2015 was curious about the tech and swing trading and arbitrage between centralised exchanges. Ran a full Parity client and shredded multiple machines while learning; participated in ICOs (mostly because of 21.co) for the same reason.
2.) 2013 and didn’t do very well, came back in 2017 for NFTs with cryptokitties and back again in 2021 for minting my art as NFTs (and collecting some)
I think early 2. Heard of ethereum, didn’t think it would be a big deal, I was wrong 😀
first ETH buy was Feb 2017 and i would prefer the label ETH/ICO/DeFi/NFT Boom tyvm 😂

2 but then i had a break until NFTs started popping off at the beginning of 2021
3. First intro to web3 was farcaster, then NFTs (for a PFP)
1. Dabbled and had paper hands 2. Jumped back in and got burned and became synical 3. Gave it another shot, learned from prior mistakes and decided to lean-in
1. It’s also the Silk Road era imo, which introduced a ton of ppl to crypto. First product meant for normal users.
3. 2018/2019 but only Bitcoin, no NFT/DeFi
1.5 Aware of btc early one, but didn’t get serious till 2015
Cusp of 2 -> 3 thanks to a friend who was getting paid in btc in 2014 🤡
3 - learned about it in 2 but didn't really start paying attention until 3.

Got in on the tail end of 3, feels late in a lot of ways but also early at the same time
Was involved in Ethereum / Alts era, but only as an observer as I was still 12-14 years old so obviously didn't have the capital to invest anything despite telling my parents it would be the future and obviously no adult is going to take financial advice from a teenager
1. I became aware in 2010 (thanks to Max Keiser) Skin in the game since 2016
1. started building in early 3 the maxis (which I'm not) will be angry at you for putting Bitcoin in the crypto category😂
