On NFT sales they ask for 30% of the value sold. Not gas fees. Why would they not asked for 30% of bridged assets ? Every single app would be begrudgingly ok with gas fees being 30% extra, that's not what they've shown to want. Am I wrong about that ?

What about smart contract risk of the bridge itself though (unless you go via a centralized player)
