Doing a vibe check - do you run your own staking setup aka are you a node operator on the Ethereum network? If yes, are you a true solo staker, are you a Rocket Pool node operator, are you using DVT, are you doing some other form of home staking or are you just running a full node without validators attached?
I was planning on home staking but am now moving around a bit so I just staked/restaked my ETH around with various LSPs including RP. Will look to home stake when I settle again. Perhaps a twist on the vibe you were looking for but it's my vibe.
All of the above.. - A true solo staker - A Rocket Pool node operator - Running DVT validators - Running full nodes without validators
Home staker since pre-Merge, Besu/Nimbus, just doing my part.gif (Yet somehow didn’t qualify for the Starknet drop 😂)
Bro. Just make a Frame with these questions in them. C’Mon man!
Solo staker since genesis. Moved most over to RP for the extra yield. Haven't dived into DVT yet. Waiting for that to mature
Home staker with the help of dappnode, nethermind/ teku. (Also 0 proposals since the validator went online 13 months ago 🥲)
I bought a NUC to start staking last year but then my job got crazy so I never set it up. Now the cost of converting from rETH to ETH is another added cost to getting started due to gas.
Would like to, but not enough ETH. Not everybody startet early. :/
Running a full node w/o validator (no $) Also running a few gnosis chain validators (cheaper)
Running a Dappnode with both solo validator and Rocket pool validator, funds are pooled with a friend
At home we have: - a solo staker (me) - a Rocket Pool stacker (@lemiscate ) - a Stader stacker
I've been a RP stalker on Allnodes and was pre-merge... Even if the hardware is rented from the sky, the intention to contribute to the safety of the network and the risk taken to do so is the same as if the hardware is at home... Thoughts?
Solo staker, nethermind/lighthouse, planning to switch to reth soon.
If I had the 32 eth I'd run a staking setup, but I have my eth in Rocket Pool
I run my own sets of 32 ETH nodes as well as some 8 ETH mini pools for Rocket pool.
True solo staker. And it looks like there are quite a few of us who remain engaged!
A true solo staker in large part inspired by you and the guys at Bankless. I give credit to the crew on Eth staker discord for teaching me how. Love this community.
Just running a full node and some Gnosis validators, with dappnode But looking for a DVT solution
Solo - but my next long term move is to spin up an Eigonpod.
Multi-Node Home Staker 🫡 - (3) EC/BC/VC - Production Mainnet Nodes - (3) EC/BC - Backups to Prod VCs via Tailscale - (2) EC/BC/VC - Holesky Testnet Running Besu/Nethermind/Lighthouse in various combos. Split between two physical locations, all managed via Tailscale. 👍

would love to run my own validator but missing the 32 eth part serious question: what would you recommend for running a node anyways? i have so much conviction in ethereum i want to support even if i have to pay for it without getting any ether back
Solo staker + rocketpool Don’t go all in on RP because you might find yourself buying RPL at the end of every rewards cycle when it goes under collateralized.
Solo staker and eigen native restaker. Nethermind/Lighthouse.
Solo staker. Node + one validator on a cheap mini computer at home.
