I consider myself a fairly sophisticated computer / website user, but 1Password has the most god-awful interface. I can't figure out how to do the most basic tasks.
IMO 1Password’s browser extensions are great. What platform are you on?
Agree. Better than LastPass though (which I migrated from following the hack)
Seeing the comments here and thinking you need to just install the app and the extensions. it's pretty seamless that way, but clunky with the webapp
Apps are better, but they’ve deff fallen. I migrated to iCloud for everything now.
Software I have the most love/hate relationship with and have been using it for almost a decade.
Weird! I like it. I’ve used it for a decade. I use the native Mac app with keyboard shortcuts. There are a few rough edges but I find it dependable and quick. Also the cli tool with biometric auth is handy.
Check out Secrects. It’s lean and fast. Been using it for 3 years now. https://outercorner.com/secrets-mac/
Also what’s the deal with apps showing the username and password field separately? I use hide my email and this forces me to enter my master password twice 😡
i think its onboarding is tough and has a short but steep learning curve. but definitely worth it! family plan with shared vaults is a game changer.
