https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1595684143429550080 Any idea how true this is? Anyone here in far-from-US countries with slow internet connections seeing significant improvements?
Because you’re more likely to see this than on Twitter: Hey and keep doing a great job 👋
I’m in israel and haven’t noticed a difference. Always worked fast enough for me
felt faster (in Spain), but impossible to tell if real or a cognitive bias
it feels slightly better from India, but not obviously so: i had to go and try a few things out
Was already pretty fast in Singapore. Maybe ever so slightly faster on mobile. Desktop feels the same. I wish he would focus on the bot problem though. Some convos are unreadable. :/
I am only having hardships on Tweetdeck where there miss a series of recent tweets from mainly crypto-economics derivative/ options accounts.
Trends and direct links to tweets started to open instantly. Home feeds and threads open noticeably slower (Vodafone, Kyiv). I'm worried about the threads - slowing them down could be enough to slowly extinguish them :/
I am in India, and I don't see much difference, if they did network enhancements in micro seconds, that might be good but not visible difference
all Im seeing is now my tweets get no engagement and I dont even get the option of paying for the checkmark.. 🤷🏻♂️
Did not see any difference in Poland. But it was always quite fast.
Also inb4 it comes out that this “issue” is actually just the Twitter CDN near one of his private islands wouldn’t cache feeds fast enough for power user Elon and not actually a problem for anyone else
Hard to say really, I never had issues with slow response in Sweden 🇸🇪
Feel it’s likely some CDN optm since Elon got enough star link experience to fix this. Can’t feel real diff in SG.
When tech companies make such claims, why is there no supplementary proof/metric to qualify the claim? What calculations/measurement goes behind such a statement. Must we rely on anecdotes? Scientists can’t make a claim without linking the source, sharing data, referencing the study or providing some foundation.
It never stops to amaze me how global of a generation we are. Look at all those flags, countries, continents…Incredible.
Actually, I've been experiencing the opposite with the latest version. And I'm based in the US.
No difference in Central Europe. Musk pumping speculation as usual.
No difference here in germany. But we are facing bugs on mobile. Comments showing up over the main tweet. Stability issues. Etc.
In Australia and fortunate enough to have fast internet access so not noticing a difference. Might be more pronounced in further regions with poorer access??
Lately the bird app has been crashing on me a lot. I live in SE Asia between China and India.
