Assuming Vision Pro sets off a new device adoption cycle over the next few years (and assume lower cost and Android version), what sport do you think: 1. Benefits the most on a relative basis, i.e. grows in popularity from the baseline today 2. Is the most enjoyable in full immersive mode

I think individual sports will what will click - something like golf might work, tennis is something you mentioned already, squash is another - shooting might work with an add on game gun lol

1. Tbh I think a newly invented esport is going to go from zero to hero v quick. 2. I’m gonna niche down and say “college basketball” - I think the vibe of pro basketball might change as people pay less to show up, but colleges will always have a captive student body in the audience at games

All f1 cars already have a bunch of cameras on them so am sure they can nail down the immersion part

Maybe more 2. than 1. but if someone is able to crack the NBA courtside UX, that could be massive. Especially given the current price. In this thread, someone mentions a company Apple acquired that seemed to be doing things right (https://www.reddit.com/r/OculusQuest/comments/10w83by/nba_vr_is_pretty_disappointing/)

1. While I don't know how it'd work, I think F1 is likely best positioned to take advantage of new tech. They seem to be good at creating good experiences for fans. 2. I hear Hockey is really fun live compared to on TV. For me, I'd love to be courtside to NBA games regularly

Honestly could be golf for both, 1. Bc in some places golf is prohibitively expensive (Asia)

I find golf and ping pong to be very fun to play on my quest. I think basketball will be most fun to watch since it’s also the most fun to watch live.

football: seeing the whole field of play instead of the zoomed view would be a better experience than anything existing basketball: court side view or that 3d model view that looked like the alien chess from star wars, both awesome hot take: F1 wouldn’t really get better from this

1. Hockey 2. Basketball I’m not a basketball person, but the sports I prefer (soccer, American football) are best experienced from above for a full field view. TV almost gives you all of that now. Basketball is the best sideline/courtside experience in terms of feeling what happens.

Golf. Wear the Vision Pro at the driving range and play a full round at Augusta with Arnold Palmer, Tiger Woods, and Michael Jordan. The AI enabled NPCs can make suggestions on how to improve your swing.
