Feel asleep, woke up and all my fav apps cost a $1 plus some I’d like to try. What are the alternatives to this for app devs? Is there a way to pay w crypto? Seems silly to have crypto but pay wc in fiat so you can pay in crypto on my behalf. Still learning hear would love to hear about other options.

We were also "surprised" that it was previously free for Farcaster users, and a couple of days ago we found out that now we have to pay $0.99 for the connection, I would be glad to hear alternative options for developers. We make @spaces free for everyone.
yeah, it should be possible to submit the transaction directly (and it will be much cheaper than $1) haven’t tried it yet but planning on giving it a go this afternoon. may reach out to you to beta test 😛

1. Most users are mobile 2. Apple doesn't allow crypto in-app payments 3. Make it easy without crypto is best path for most people
It's only a temporary solution for user non-crypto righ @v @dwr.eth? Next step i think all action fee like register and create signer will be charged thought custody crypto wallet.
It's a nightmare for users and developers on the platform! We must find a different solution. Requiring users to pay for login is never a complete solution (even if it's just for the first login with that app; how many apps will a user need to log into?). It's truly a significant barrier.
