Looking for my next fiction read. What are books that gave you a new perspective / made you think more deeply about a given topic? All genres welcome :)
I’m usually a few months or years late to fiction since I don’t read a bunch of it but Pachinko has really stuck with me. Besides the historical context, it really made me think about the role that Redemption plays in a society.
2 recent books I’ve enjoyed and made me think: the buried giant (Kazuo Ishiguro) Never (Ken follett)
I really recommend this book for airport/vacay reading It’s a very strong not an easy one
Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco got me thinking about what books would mean in a world scarce with books and literacy
