GM Kinda curious how y’all approach nail care 💅🏻 Are your nails always done? never done, au natural? I’m on again, off again, mostly because I don’t have time to keep up, and I’m a little skeptical about chemicals.
Always done 😛 I am skeptical about the chemicals too but I just love having little colours and gems on my nails lol
I do shellac manicures. Whenever they’re not done I can’t help but bite them which I absolutely hate!
As much as I want to do gel, it destroys the integrity of my nails 🙃 I also do a lot of things with my hands so normal manicures don’t last a long time either. I’ll paint for special occasions and take it off 2-3 days later. Cuticle oil, massage, push them back weekly & thats it!
Same here! Off and on from time to time! Although I won’t lie on the fact that it is just a pleasure to see your nails done! Therefore, your hands look flowed up ✨
Quit manicures during the pandemic, never returned Have my nails done here and there but I do them myself with stickers like this
au natural, after i went for a pedicure at a nail parlor that royally botched the job (as in, severe burns on one foot from an overheated paraffin soak that caused really bad damage to one toenail), I've been nervous to go in again. I've since healed, but it's been kind of nice to not spend so much on nails. 😅
Wildly inconsistent. I will wear acrylics for a few weeks before they trigger sensory overload and I take them off. 😅
Off mostly. There’s a cool beauty salon in Chicago that does all their beauty products in-house (Mojo Spa).Used to do mani/pedi there when in town once per year. Went here with the kids for the first time in 2017.
I swearrrr by a Russian manicure 💅 Lasts 6 weeks and looks immaculate. Definitely not chemical-friendly though 😬
ugh this is such a great q - i love having a baller set of nails done (see pics, i get acrylic extensions and usually do fun nail designs) and let them last/grow out for like 5-6 weeks and by week 3 i'm at the edge of my sanity bc of how inconvenient life is with long nails and am traumatized for 6 months
