Apple wants you to be a user of their computing ecosystem. Meta wants you to be a character in their world. This difference is felt in every interaction across both devices.
So well put, but “user” doesn’t capture the full depth of it for me with Apple. It’s like I can feel that they want me to be… an appreciator, a beneficiary, a sacred guest. There is just *such* high attention to both the functionality and the sustainability of my aesthetic experience.
