it’s messy, I don’t know. FC right now has some good vibes with optimists etc but it’s also inevitably kinda closed off for now. My favorite thing about Twitter is (was?) how global and universal it was. Sad to think that there may never quite be another Twitter when it declines. I’m still clinging to it

may I ask, what's your diagnosis now? my current takes: - permissionless is a virtue, global and universal feel amazing - I prefer the new BlueCheck policy. Fewer self-granted gatekeepers is better overall - would like better walls/shields (to raise and lower at will) rather than constant firehose flattened by the TL
