"AI needs cryptography" is something I 100% agree with, in the same way that the internet wouldn't be nearly as useful without SSL/TLS, asymmetric key crypto etc. On the other hand, not obvious to me that AI needs cryptocurrencies/blockchain -- is this what you're claiming and if so why?
Yep. Still working out the thesis. Write a series about it on my newsletter. Short version: cryptocurrencies/blockchains = cryptography + economics. The economics piece is not optional. AI needs an economics not just a secrecy tech
At a high level I think about it like this, Blockchains are a force for immutability and provablity, while AI is a force too dramatically increase work efficiency , but has big issues with being able to fake and imitate pretty much anything now.
