If I reply to someone, my timeline stays in the same spot after casting. Currently it sends the OC and my reply to the top and I lose my place in the timeline.
iterate much faster and closer with users on channels. I think u could have smth interesting there but it needs still a lot of tweaking

Zip up the ever so slight lag in loading. For instance, it takes a beat to see notifications after I press the icon. 👸🏼
I still occasionally get DMs from folks i onboard complaining "cant do this on web" or a screenshot of a "broadcast error", so id say that -- smoother onboarding, with fewer particulars and bugs

If I have a draft, give me the restore prompt as soon as I open the composer, not just when I start typing

Here's something quite urgent IMHO: when your cast includes an image or a link (or worse, both), it's very difficult to scroll vertically - you risk "pulling down" the whole thing and scrapping the cast!

BDFOWF Wish List: 1. Ability to mute RCs at the account and feed level - by far the most noise on my feed comes from this 2. Ability to hide replies when they're to accounts I do not follow 3. Better Quote-Cast UX and inline display 4. Customized, What's Hot channels based on keywords and/or subject
Poor experience reading replies compared to twitter or threads Constantly getting deeper in nested replies makes it hard to follow
Add a glb viewer One that you can swivel the sculpture around in and zoom in on
And alternate wallet delegation so we don’t have to connect our vault or artist wallets to, but still see artist minting activity in the nft feed
not really a feature but a ui thing – fit image frame to content so that all images are full width of the cast (crop if image is egregiously tall, of course!) the letterboxing always looks unpolished to me 🤷🏻♀️
I can't seem to write threads the way I'd write on Twitter, I have to do them one by one on Warpcast.
I like how photos look/feel on Threads. Would be nice to give photography the same love on Warpcast.
When I check out NFTs in the NFT channel, I’d like to be able to visit its website, marketplace/platform where it was minted, & social media account to learn more. If the creator didn’t include their website in the description, then the only thing I could do is view the activity + owners right now. Closed loop atm

Allow me to swipe out of the comments back to the feed by swiping anywhere on the screen. Right now I need to swipe starting on the very leftmost side of the screen which is hard to reach when I'm holding my phone with my right hand. It's a small annoyance but makes me less likely to click into the comments section.
I would love to see in the future the integration with ActivityPub to federate with the Fediverse!
Delegate.cash support. I know a number of folks that are not comfortable with wallet signatures from their vaults, even if non-gas transactions. Would help in increasing the rate of linked wallets.

this is probably radioactive, but how about dislikes? twitter has ratios. deltas aren't that immutable, but what about votes? seems like too much friction to use trad platform for niche social interactions e.g. grants/bounties/lazy search
I would make it demonstrably easy for any Caster to "take their social graph with them" and show non-Casters how it's done. Zuck/Elon would never do this, and thus represents an opportunity for Farcaster.

I scroll thorugh the comment and no one has mentioned it. Give us an option to create an account without downloading the app. Send invite email -> open browser -> connect wallet ->create account -> welcome to warpcast.
What about an algo that is more TikTok-like but applied to Text. The dilemma I have felt acutely with clubhouse, Twitter, Instagram, Bluesky, etc is that if you’re early enough and grind enough you get an advantage by accumulating audience and thus influence. This ultimately does not encourage good content.

A user sees the preview of a cast on Trending feed. In order to unlock and view the whole cast, user needs to have a specitic NFT in wallet, follow the creator, recast the cast or like the cast. Conditions can be diversified.

I hate “for you”. It’s the same accounts since I’ve signed up. Does anyone use it? It’s wasted real estate. Proposal - put recent searches there instead for now.
Clearing/Archving Notification could be useful (similar to Github) I often use it to keep 'Active' Notification intact as a todo.
Also, feedback on successful casting. For example, when I replay to this cast, after hitting "Reply" nothing really happens (beside closing the modal.)

How hard it is to find the link to a shared NFT if the mint button isn’t there (would be really nice if the collection page had a link to the collection - say on Open Sea)
Ok, crazy idea. Legally here in Quebec I have to write both in French and English for whatever I do for 0x Society and French has to be "more accessible" than the English. Multiple language support for a single cast? Someone has their language set to Engl they see the eng version, and vice versa?
Make it possible to fully create and manage profiles from desktop without having to keep a phone logged in to a profile. This way we can manage multiple profiles from different devices.

would be great to have more control over channels if your connected wallet (or one you can verify for privately) created the NFT contract for example a wallet i control will launch an @event account pass in the future and i might want to limit the channel so only @event can make top level casts
warpcast links in DCs link out to web for me annoying that channels don’t work on web, and casts in channels only show up under casts+replies on your profile (i get why, but still annoying) would be nice to have semantic user search (ie use embeddings)
no channels on web, i use web for @purpler and i can't post to the purpler channel 😤
on mobile in the main feed my Name is too long so it pushes the kebab menu out of frame which means I have an extra tap when I want to share cast links
Bring back the purple check - Verified profile - Verified ENS Immediate--transfer, check goes away immediately. Bonus: link to onchain profile (zapper/opensea/new fc page) for verified users. Twitter blue check meant "bureaucratically approved", elon check means "pays me $8", farcaster should mean "verified onchain"
A branding / marketing strategy to get Pedro Pascal, Timothée Chalamet and all the RingerVerse people here, which would include adjusting the onboarding experience.
There are a couple of small ux tweaks on mobile that might be nice to fix. One is that long handles sometimes don’t look nice on the right side of the screen. Twitter solves this by having a “…” for long handles, I believe. The “new cast” here is a small annoyance here because I can’t read the cast.
Block certain people and alert ‼️ friends of grifters / mute topics / explore topics / ai summaries of long threads / get 3 people to approve a new invitee / make it application based
Seeing what communities/DAOs someone's in (like purple for now) Interface has a lite version of that, I like to see if someone else's on FWB or Gnars.

On web when I'm reading my feed and click into a post, and then back out, it likes to jump up 20+ posts and I have to scroll back down

Just ran into this one: When following channels, after I click follow the entire page/view refreshes (goes blank purple and then the elements come back into view) instead of just the follow button changing state.
Same old people because new accounts are not being taken care of and the only incentive is to reply like this so people notice
I’ve been getting this bug intermittently for the past 36 hours where either the cast text or the image/link embed doesn’t render properly and I need to refresh a few times in order to get it to show up
Tiny request: modal preview of a user's profile when hovering over their handle in a cast
In notifications on desktop warpcast, hovering over someone's profile image has a popup with more info and lets me follow them
Fine control over feed. Start from raw feed, literally latest casts with no filter whatsoever. Then give me slider bars to tune how much I want to see from the people I follow, from currently trending, from given topics.
