What’s your home networking setup? I got fed up with wifi signal in my apt and fell down the home networking rabbit hole. Ordered 1x ASUS AXE16000 and 2x ZenWiFi ET8 to use as wired backhauls. Big upgrade over my Google Nest WiFi

I have a mesh system from Ubiquity (the AmpliFi line). Modem has fiber in, then to the main router. Mesh points on middle and top levels. Absolutely fantastic.

Old first gen Orbi mesh that keeps not dying and seems mostly good enough. Various smart home things, family of four, lots of streaming and gaming and video chat.

Are you allowed to use your own modem in the US? In my country ISP is a monopoly and you are forced to use their modem which is probably filled with a ton of distopian shit. I can attach a router customize a little but ultimately have to use their modem.

I went with enterprise equipment, but the cheap version: Ubiquiti router, POE switch, UniFi APs ceiling mounted (POE), UniFi security cameras, and hardwire to some places.
