Agreed. Love this idea. Requiring welcome notes conveys the message that the FC ecosystem is worth that level of effort (it IS!) Then when the invitees join, they get a personalized welcome, and other casters can get to know the invitees through the eyes of someone who already knows and appreciates them.
+1 I support doing this (not as a requirement, as a nudge). Credit to all of you for starting this behaviour. (In the past, I've built things predicated on conversational UX and saw how what copy you write as the product lead propagates throughout. People quote what you wrote, and *make it lovelier and better*.

Suggestion - Pre-format it, and put it on the invite screen/page with a prompt… but don’t require it. Thisistheway.
